alright so lately 3rd has been given me some trouble on my commute to work. I though nothing of it as I figured it was me just being tired and half awake. Today tho on my way home I was having a hard time switching between gears at 1st it was just down shifting from 4th to 3rd but then as I began to get closer to home it was grinding into ever gear. I think it might be the syncros. But for all I know 3rd could of totally let go and now I have metall floating around. has anyone has many issues with the standard trans I know the auto are junk

 

Honda manual trans are usually pretty dependable. Rebuild or a new one is gonna cost ya $2000. Buying a salvage one with decent miles and a having your guy put it in you can shave $1000 off that price.
