Default My good experience with a headlight cleaner product

I am some what new to the Honda world, at least the ownership of one. I am a DSM guy with a 97 GSX and a 03 Evo. I am always working on them to make them faster or better, so I purchused a Honda Civic EX for a daily driver. Of course I can't leave much alone and I have some small plans for this car too, but nothing power wise, I leave that to the 4G63 power plants.

I just got the car Saturday and like most cars it had headlight cancer. It was from NC, so it was in the sun a fair amount. Anyway I had experience in the past with a headlight restore product called Janvil and it's awesome! After about 30 minutes per head light I went from foggy to crystal clear. This the not the first car I have done this to either. I have found that it will take 2 separate applications for them to stay really clear, but it's much easier than those kits in the store. I used a Craftsman buffer to buff the lights with a different pad for each application.

Just thought I would tell you all about it in case you wanted to see again.

So it's basically a spray on and wipe off kind of deal?

Do you have any detailed/bigger pictures?

A good wet sand can make headlights look near perfect also.

This is a good DIY by SIRIUS. His headlights looked really foggy before.

My headlights looked awful so I did something about it.....

It is a series of 2 compounds and a polish. There was no sanding involved and my head lights were definitely worse than SIRIUS. I paid around $30.00 for the 8oz kit and I have done 4 sets of head lights already. They are currently on sale for a much better price. I liked it over the sanding because it is less effort, you just let the buffer do the work. I used a craftsman buffer and got 4 pads for $6.00. I use a different pad for each compound of course.
