I have a oem distributor on my GSR, but wanna do a tune up/upgrade...so I plan on getting a MSD Ignition Distributor Cap & Rotor...sorry, im kinda a noob. But can I install/switch the MSD cap and rotor onto my dist.???

Yea but there is no point unless you are boosted.If you are looking to get cheap Hp it wont do ****!Buy some accel wire's and you will feel a small change in throttle response and high end.

 

What will the MSD cap and rotor do for a boosted engine.

I got APC wires off ebay for 20 bucks last week and they work as good as my 100$ msd ones I had

 

Haha thats funny you say that, because I used to work for APC and we bought our wires from the same factory that produced the wires for MSD.

 

Hell yea it was a long shot but they're jus as good. There's tons of sets on ebay if you guys wanna check em out

 

If you want to do the cap and rotor add the "off-board" Blaster coil if you want to notice any diff.
