Engine swap ideas?
I have got a 89 crx si. I want to build a sleeper. The problem I dont know what motor I should choose. I am also thinking about adding a turbo. If there is a motor that makes enough power, I would rather have that than a turbo. I have another ride so I can save up money. Do not want to do it the cheap way. I want a fast ride.

Well I would go with the YT-1300 Light Freighter, or better known as the Millennium Falcon, has these specs for speed:
Speed
WEG Hyperdrive: x2
WEG Sublight: 4
LucasArts Sublight: N/A
ILM Sublight: <75 MGLT
Pretty fast by my standards.
Has 2 Girodyne SRB42 sublight engines, modified of course.
Has a Hyperdrive rating: 0.5 Class Rating, and 10 Backup Class rate.
Enjoy.

My buddy and I are about to do a Z6 swap in a civic 4 door. You all ready have the cable SI tranny, so it would be a breeze for you. They are pretty cheap also. I don't know, just giving you options.

Since you sound like you don't have experience with cars, i think you should start with an Ls swap, and then you can turbocharge it later down the road.
Or you could try gsr, b20/vtec, h22a, you have lots of options just do some research.
This is definitely quick. She did the Kessell run in less than 12 parsecs.
