Default 92' prelude swap

im doing a swap with a 92 si im using an f22b sohc non vtec engine from an accord, the engine is in the car wired up but when I hit the key i lose all power till i wiggle the positive power cable, both terminals are tightened properly and ive grounded the starter and trans to the battery and the battery and valve cover to the car, the thermostat is also grounded in the harness. the battery is brand new and the power cable only has some rust on it what am i doing wrong.

Sounds like you just need new power/ground wires. fresh wires will help.
