Default Replace or adjust valves?

sup guys this aint my video but my h22 is making the same ticking noise that goes throughout the entire video. im not talking bout the deep one towards the end but the high pitch ticking sounds like a diesel sorta lol.

just wondering if valves could be bent or just need adjustment? the oil im using currently is mobil 1 10w30 not sure if that matters btw...

Check the valves and adjust if necesarry, these motors also naturally have some chatter to them. As far as oil, well that is a whole different topic, I would always use manufacturers recommended weight which is 5w-30 or something of a wider viscosity range for best lubrication and protection.

I thought that noise was a tell-tale sign of an auto-tensioner going bad. If you had a bent valve it probably wouldn't be running.

Spin your crank with a wrench, See if there is any "tight" spots where the valve might be touching the piston

valve adjustment. When adjusting your valves make sure your engine is cold or air temp. use a feeler gauge and specs for your model.
