need help identify red front fog

need help identify red front fog
does anyone know where i can find or what is called? or what is the purpose of this light? i've seen them on drifting and circuit cars but don't know if they just blink or work as a brake light. bada$$ wagon BTW

im not sure the purpose of that one. but it shouldnt be a brake light. us law is red lights belong in the back or back facing. and amber in the front or front facing.
im guessing that particular one is for aesthetics..

Looks like a Raybrig/generic rear foglight. Similar to a trailer light, but those don't direct the light out as much. Still would probably fulfill the same purpose though.
No one here is stopping you from putting such a light on your car, but if you put a red light on the front of your car you will end up getting pulled over and likely issued a fix it ticket of some sort or a warning. It's rather eye-catching and very much illegal.

§ 547.353. COLOR REQUIREMENTS.
(a) A clearance lamp, identification lamp, side marker lamp, or reflector mounted on the front, on the side near the front, or in the center of the vehicle must be or reflect amber.
