You need:

projectors - either xenon or bi-xenon. if you dont want or need high beams you can save a little by going with single xenon.

shrouds - not absolutely necessary but makes them look better

wire harness w/relay - makes it easy to install and avoids overpowering the stock harness and other issues with bad wiring

bulbs - recommend 4300K OEM brand bulbs

Ballast/ignitor - can use whatever you want. go with an OEM like Matsushita etc.

check http://www.theretrofitsource.com/ has a lot of good stuff

for example my setup is :
TSX projectors, single xenon
Matsushita ballasts (nissan)
retrofit source shrouds and wire harness
OEM nissan 4300k bulbs

Those are BiXenon, so u have both low and hi beams correct?
And how much improvement would you say these made over the stock bulbs? I have been looking into doing a retro fit and everything I have found using say the infiniti or tsx cost right around $400.

At $200 that is a great price and lot having to cut the headlight housing makes these seem to be the best retrofit product.

Share your thoughts on the product with us please? performance improvement over stock and well worth it?
Did u get the small or large?

I had a really good experience with www.theretrofitsource.com. They sell a full kit for pretty cheap and have excellent customer service Matt will help you with any questions you have. Great company.

As for performance, it is night and day difference I will never drive without projectors.

Did you have to do much cutting modification to your headlight housing?

Well it was my first retro, so I have nothing to base it off of but to get it to my liking I feel like I made quite a few cuts to get there. All in all I am extremely pleased with the out come.

I had got

Fx-R bixenons
55w greddy balasts
Philips bulbs

Beam pattern and light output is awesome I love it.

yes it is both low and high beam. it's a huge improvement over stock and miles above putting hids in stock ek housings. it is not as precise/even a beam as say a tsx or tl retrofit might have, but it's still very nice. again this is a budget kit. if they were asking like $300-350 then i'd expect better projectors with more refined optics.

at any rate it was $200 well spent. and the projectors, bulbs, and ballasts all carry a lifetime warranty.

i did the retro with ek housings so i used the larger projector and it fit fine. if you were doing ef lights though for example you'd definitely want the smaller projector.
