Default Headlight beeper not working.

I no longer get the headlight beeper reminder in my 2004 Honda Civic EX.
The dome light does come on when the doors are open and I do get the key reminder if I leave my key in the ignition (off) with the door open.

I haven't drained my battery yet but I will soon! Help!
I'm NOT very good at working on cars and am not familiar with the terminology but if anyone knows what is wrong here, I'd appreciate it!
The dealership wanted my car all day to look for this and I needed it (I can only take it in on Saturdays so this limits my chances to get them to fix it).

I take it back... the key reminder doesn't work either!

check your drivers side, door switch, it's pretty common for them to break, look on the b pillar when you open the door (stand outside the car), you'll see there's a little black piece of rubber, underneath it is the door switch, i'm almost 99% sure that that's what it is, it should be less than $15 from the dealer

I can check it, but everything I've read says if the dome light responds to the door opening and shutting properly, that the switch is functioning just fine.

Also, the seatbelt reminder only beeps when the car is first turned on. Its supposed to be as you drive without your seatbelt but it doesn't.
That seems to show its not related to the door at all.

Maybe the problem is the little alarm/beeper itself?
