ok so i am having a problem with my idle on my turbo d16z6 it is mildly built with a skunk2 pro intake and 750cc injectors walbro 255 hondata ecu (s200) getting s300 soon. my problem is my idle stays at 1500 - 1400 at all times and if i hit the gas and let off real fast it slowly drops back to 1500 no check engine lights are on and iv replaced everything you could think of from the IACV to the FITV and nothing has fixed it... no vacuum leaks anywhere.


note this.. i do have a aftermarket radiator and fan system and my fan always stays on.. keeping my engine cold my temp gauge always reads below cold.
not sure if that would have anything to do with it just letting you guys know..
any help would be helpful

 

The issue could be anything from your iacv duty being turned up in your s200 tune to your ignition timing at idle load columns being a bit too advanced or erratic etc.

Have your hondata tuner inspect the car.

 

thanks i took it to the shop down here and the guy changed the duty of my iacv but that didint fix it.. any other thoughts? im really starting to think its got somthing to do with my map sensor or my cooling system.

 

i would make surrrreeee you dont have a vacuum leak, that what it sounds like it is to me. cant say much else without looking at datalogs
