Default d16a6 mini me timing belt help!

i have a d16a6 with a z6 head. im on the timing belt part of the swap. i have the z6 belt but its too tight. and of course the a6 is too loose. right now its z6 belt/a6 tensioner/a6 water pump. im assuming the water pump has the same teeth regardless of vtec/non vtec blocks. ive seatched everywhere and got tons of diff scenarios. i tried the z1 tensioner and it doesnt fit on the block correctly

Have you tried the z6 tensioner? I know everything that I read about the mini me swap, says to use the cam gear for the head, and get a adjustable cam gear. It also states that the cam will be one tooth off, and you can adjust that out with the cam gear.

sooo i decided to use a z6 tensioner and modify the hole where it slides on the post attatched to the block. if i dremel the hold wider the tensioner will sit flat against the block and the belt should fit. i tried it with an old one from my d15b vtec

I've been wondering the same thing for a while now to. I am also woried about piston to valve clearance. So since the a6 is too loose and the z6 is too tight would a d15b2 belt work or no?
