Default Wire harness question

I got a 1996 integra ls with a obd2a 99 b18c1 in it,p72 obd2a ecu
im driving around without the vtec hooked up.
Idk how to wire vtec up ive been researching and reseraching only finding stuff about civics this civics that, nothing on vtec wiring on mine specifically, year and model.96 ls with 99 b18c1
Question is.....Can i get a 96-98 d16y8 civic ex wiring harness that comes from the ecu through the firewall and put it on my ls integra and be fine because i am not going to attempt wiring on my own lol...or do i have to get a gsr 96-99 ecu to firewall harness? any help would be great Thanks

the ex will work but you have to wire it from the engine harness to the ecu

Yea just trying to avoid any wiring myself and before i pay someone to do it,i just want to know my options of which harness easiset to attain will make it plug and go vtec in a 96 ls integra with a 99 b18c1 ,i really really doubt im going to find a 96-99 gsr ecu to shock tower harness at the junk yards,I got the gsr enine harness that goes from engine to the shock tower. What im wanting to know is if i can take my ls ecu to shock tower harness out and replace it with civic d16y8 vtec ecu to shock tower harness and plug it into my gsr tower harness? will this make my gsr have vtec and no rewiring of anything vtec wise?or is that not an option? i just figured civics with d series vtecs can just plug in gsr and go.Cant i just take out the civic vtec harness and put it in my teg and go....if that is confusing sorry lol
