Hasport DP-MP Conversion Question
I was looking at the wireing in my wagon, which has a hasport built wireing harness. And i noticed on the multipoint conversion subharness which has a 6 Pin Plug, and all of the wires are run to the ECU. But only 5 of the wires are tied into the ECU.
The last wire is a Green wire.
Anybody know what that wire could be? I wasnt able to trace in in the harnes becuase i dont want to cut up my Pretty Hasport harness.
Thanks

This is the 6 pin plug that Hasport added to the harness when they built it.
It is the 6 New wires that are running to the ECU.
When doing the mp swap, how many new wires do you run to the ECU?
5? or 6?

Back up switch? As in the 2 wires coming off the tranny?
i dont see a reason why that would be going twards the ECU
but your the wiring guru!
Oh, this car was origionally an auto. so i dont have my revearse lights hooked up.

i think the issue is mainly because its an obd0 GSR that you are running. an obd0 (PR3 and PW0) were not meant to run a gsr. the obd0 ecu's do not recognize the IAB sensor. you may want to get a skunk2 manifold for it then it might run better seeing as its a similar manifold to a b16.
on a stock mpfi harness the 6-pin connector has the following wires going into it:
1. back up switch (yellow wire)
2. distributor (thick white wire)
3. coolant sensor at cyl head (red/white)
4. back up switch (ground green)
5. fan switch (yellow/green)
6. IAT (red/yellow)
