Among other things the release fork is different. Cable tranny has a release fork setup for a clutch cable. Hydro tranny has a release fork setup for a hydraulic slave cylinder. Mounts are also different.

With a conversion kit, which if its a D-series tranny costs more than just buying a cable tranny. If its a B-series hydro tranny you can swap the hydro guts into a YS1 cable case.

hello guys my name is Luis. I was wondering if I can take the cable case of the Trans and put the cable case on the Hydro case because I snapped the bolt on my Hydro and wanted to know if I could use the keys from the cable to Hydro
