Effects of 5 speed B18a1 w/ Auto PR4 EGR Code12
I have a 5 speed OBD1 B18a1 with an automatic PR4 ecu. I am throwing an EGR code (code 12). I know that only the automatic LS's had an EGR valve, so I assume this is why my ecu is looking for it. Could having this code affect anything other than just causing a CEL? I plan on getting the ecu chipped eventually but for now the car SEEMS to be running fine, although I don't know what types of problems this code can cause, even though I don't actually have an EGR valve. Anybody know?
