90 Civic with Ls swap starting problem. Please help!
My 90 hatch with a 95 LS swap i just rebuilt and put in 7500 miles ago is giving me starting problems. .. I go to start it and the power is good and on i turn the key to start and it does nothing. No clicks no putters just the electronics and the fuel pump, it only does it sometimes or it has a delayed or if i try to start then let it sit for 20 mins it starts right up. But today it wont start at all.
Info i can give is it used to be an auto then swapped to a 5sp with a 1.6 zc ran fine then i swapped to the ls with a b16 5 spd. runs fine. It does have an alarm thats older than dirt but works okay
any help would be great! Thanks!!

Start off by checking your battery terminals and chassis grounds. Make sure they are tight and clean from corrosion/rust.
If the starter is not clicking when you attempt to start the car, then check for voltage at the signal wire terminal of the starter solenoid. If little or no voltage is present when turning the ignition switch(cranking) then you may have a faulty clutch pedal switch. You can try bypassing the clutch pedal switch with a paper clip to determine of the switch is faulty.
If it still won't crank, you may have a faulty alarm ignition cutoff relay. You can bypass the ignition cutoff by reattaching the two ends of the thicker black/white wire under the dash.(look for an aftermarket relay or at the alarm box itself)
Try these steps first as these are common issues with our cars.
