ok so I just fully rebuilt my y1 lsd tranny 2 months ago so I want to keep it if possible, now my lsd diff broke and was told to get another y1 lsd diff or aftermarket. Not wanting to risk money on another used y1 lsd I bought a new b16 lsd from http://www.wavetrac.net/technical.htm. after $950 and a broken wallet I dropped it off at the shop and get a phone call the next day. Seems the b16 wavetrac wont fit since its smaller than my eom y1 lsd diff. I have the right lsd but for some reason its to small. after some calls fromthe shop and wavetrac it seems like a gsr diff might fit since it seems to be the same size as my y1 lsd diff.

is there a way I can keep my y1 tranny and after market lsd or do i need a oem y1 lsd.

 

Get a non LSD final drive (ring gear AND countershaft).
