can i put a j1's lsd in a y1 tranny

Hrm, J1 w/LSD that's a rare one.

Yes you should be able to transfer it over but I believe you need to keep the J1's final drive along (ring & pinion) along with the LSD, when you place it in the Y1 tranny.
