Default please check my stock d16y8 turbo crome bin =)

okay so im not soo concerned with my afrs, i know i need some tweaking there, but that part is pretty straight forward to me. im running a chipped p28 with crome, and I'm installing a knocklite this weekend to see if i cant figure these timing maps out. *edit- also using freelog to log afrs and check timing* just looking to see if my maps look good right now and i dont have a timebomb on my hands. I have the mechanical timing set at 12* and the ecu at 21* base. ill throw up some screenshots, but would definitely like if someone wanted to grab my whole bin and look it over. please dont tell me to take it to a tuner or whatever, this stuff fascinates me and I want to get ever drop of knowledge i can on this subject even if people have to flame me to do it thanks for your time

setup:
d16y8 stock
custom mini-ram
garrett t3/t04e 57 trim
tial 38mm @ 7psi
dsm 450cc
walbro 255
Precision 350hp IC
2.5" dp/testpipe/catback
innovate lc-1
blitz bov
p28 chipped by me, moates ostrich and xtreme hulog

okay so here is the bin I initially tuned the car on, i started with a bin i found on xenocron and tuned it from there, i had the mechanical timing at 16* for this one.

and this one I havent run in the car yet, I just wanted to start from scratch so I could get the feel for creating one, plus this way i could put my dizzy back in the middle instead of cranked all the way towards the firewall. ( the screenshots are from this bin )

only way your going to set timing properly is on a dyno.

Your fuel maps are a little splotchy so don't be suprised if you get a couple hiccups under boost. Your timing is ok but you won't know what it truly wants until you get on a dyno and watch the torque curve.

First things first, I'd set your distributor base timing to 16 degrees. Use your software to make changes from there. Remember that adjusting your distributors 'mechanical' base timing also affects your injector opening and closing times in relation to engine position...

also, you WILL need it on the dyno to verify your timing is ideal..
