IAC Problem?
I am having the same issue, I just got my integra, the idle surges from 1k to 2k and never drops below 1k. I have a b18b1 non vtec not sure what engine you have, but I wanted to know if you can just clean the valve/motor and reinstall it. From what I have found out its a plunger style valve so it should be cleanable unless they just go bad. a new one is like 200 bucks everywhere I have looked.
I have a B18C1 Vtec
I'm not too sure what to do, I went on youtube, found alot of people with the same problem , and they all said its the Idle Air Control Valve (IACV)
Soo i'm just wondering if this is true

found this link, there is also a valve under the tb that is called the FITV fast idle thermo valve, but if that was sticking you would prob only have flux idle when the car is cold. Im going to try cleaning the IACV tomorrow, Ill post up if It helped out at all. I have also read that real dirty tb can cause some of this, but it goes along with sticky gas petal most of the time, so in my case im still betting on the IACV. Its worth cleaning and easy to get to, saves you 200 bucks
