I have a few things going on I am trying to figue out that the problem with my car is. First the clutch slave was recently replaced and we made sure the bleed the hell out of it. I changed the slave because it was leaking around the boot and the clutch would engage and disengage yet would never quite return all the way back to the top. Changing the slave did nothing for the clutch pedal travel. The car is very hard to get into 1st and 2nd gear yet goes into 4th 5th and reverse with ease. The clutch is original and has 276,000 miles on. I realize that is a ton but I just don't feel the clutch itself is the issue here. I need some insite as I am about to sell this damn thing out of frustration

I can bet you need a new pressure plate, clutch and throw-out bearing
