Car won't start makes clicking noise
Hey H-T i have a 2003 Honda Accord 2.4L the car makes clicking noise when i turn the key on ignition it makes a clicking noise from solenoid, and the car doesn't get cranked at all to start.
List of things i've checked.
1. I checked the battery, i went bought a new a battery to make sure its not that, so it wasn't the battery.
2. Checked all the fuses under the hood and inside of the car no bad fuses at all.
I want to give it a try by checking the "Main Relay" and replacing it, i can't find the location of the relay.
Also, when i turn on the ignition and leave it for twenty seconds the "CEL" flashes five times. I read the code it's the map sensor i unplugged it and tried turning it on didn't work.
Any help & Ideas would be great.

It could be several things-starter, ignition switch, transmission switch, etc.
Lets start with the starter:
With car in P or N you can disconnect the positive wire from the starter and use a jumper wire from the positive post on the battery to that terminal on the starter. Be careful as the starter will try to work as soon as you touch that wire to the starter terminal. This can tell you if your starter is bad.

wow...you're a big help. I guess you know everything and always have.
The TWO main relays are in the under dash fuse panel. It doesn't matter since that isn't the problem.
Your problem is most likely a bad starter IF the clicking is coming from the engine area. The starters on those engines are crap. Use a pipe or breakover bar or anything long and heavy to tap on the starter while someone is trying to start it. You may get it to start again that way so it can be driven to where it will be fixed. The starter is hiding underneath the intake manifold.

^^agreed, it's probably the starter. The solenoid is throwing the starter gear out ("click") but the starter doesn't have the ***** to turn the engine over. Replace the starter and you're good to go. Depends on transmission, you can get a reman from Honda (m/t only) for $309.03 exchanged or a new unit (a/t) for $379.88. HTH
Test your to see if it is indeed your starter, have someone try to start the vehicle and you tap on the starter. If it starts right up then it's definately the starter. It won't always work but its free to try.

never ever seen a place around me that rebuilds alternators/starters. ill have to search for a shop that does that and see what i find. im curious now
