When i press on my clutch it sometimes makes like a spring noise of a air sound. Could that be a problem with the clutch cable?

1997 dx d16y8 swap obd2. 8 lb flywheel. Anyone know why clutch makes this noise? Could it be wearing out

 

You have a hydraulic rather than cable clutch, right? Is the noise coming from the clutch pedal or the clutch itself?

Generally, if the clutch makes noise only when the pedal is depressed, then there's a problem with the throw out bearing or possibly the pressure plate.

 

Im pretty sure just from the pedal itself

 

Is the pedal soft and spongy?

 

Eh not really. Still feels good and no grinds or slippage in shifts
