is 2,000 for a b20 installed a good deal? or 1,100 for a d16ZC?

 

if you know the guy good and he is a known person to build good motors i guess b20v for 2k is good but then again if you were my boy and i sold you a motor it would be 1000 installed

If it runs and it's a decent engine that's a pretty good deal.

do some research on the motors i believe u can get a b20 shipped to your door from tiger japanese for 700-800 last time i checked. 2000 seems a little much to me, imo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

2k is a fair deal depending what type of tranny and head.. if its just the longblock its not worth it. You can buy a b20b for 450$ from your local shop, a complete gsr/b16 head for around 350-500, and a gsr/b16 trans for $400-700..

EDIT: installation labor range from 400-600, just swap it in yourself.

 

"IF" it includes everything for a full swap including assembly of the motor then yea thats a heck of a deal. But why don't you post the details for us so we have a better understanding of what you are actually paying for?
