BWR Rear Subframe and OEM rear sway.
I have a 98 GSR and recently purchased a BWR rear subframe brace. I am having trouble with the OEM rear sway working with the brace, almost like the holes for the sway were drilled incorrectly or something. Anyone else by chance have this issue? Or if you have successfully used this combo, please chime in or even better yet... post some pics. Thanks.
BWR sucks, get an ASM or a Function 7 brace. From what i've heard BWR has shitty quality parts and shitty costume service, look in the suspension forum and you'll see a thread there about their coilovers.
I am going to try and modify the sway bracket before I modify the subframe brace.. bracket is probably a little cheaper if something went wrong.

Hey, I see you have successfully installed the BWR, nice pics on the other thread, btw!
But how did you do it? I encountered the same problem with my BWR, I have a 96 RS with its OEM sway bar. I think I made a huge mistake cutting down the D bracket bushings looking to squeeze them closer together. Obviously it didn't work. The car is on jack stands because I am stuck and it will stay there till I find new bushings. I looked up if thinner smaller brackets exist for my sway bar and nothing... please heeeeeeelp!!

My asr brace was the same way the brackets for the d brackets would not line up with the stock sway bar, with just the d brackets the holes on the brace were too far away and with the extra extender thingy that went on below the d bracket the holes were too close together on the asr brace. Im just buying the asr 24mm sway I was planning on doing that eventually anyway. For now I would just go without the sway bar
The curious thing about it is that the holes on the brace are actually closer together than the ones on the D Bracket, which seems to need an even smaller sway bar?
Makes NO sense!!
Anyways, suggestions?

FWIW, I got the OEM to fit.. Although now that it's spring time and there isn't salt and **** all over the place, I am putting on my ASR rear sway.
With the OEM rear sway.
With the OEM rear sway.
