my positive input is to get a 1.8 or 2.0 block.. and put your head on that. you will notice a huge difference... i wouldnt leave that b16 in for very long...do you at least have a better than ls trans

Probably better than the LS that was in there.
But isn't an ideal set-up, I'd look into a some kind of B18C but if you rock the 16 again, it's still better than the LS that was in there.

deff NOT better than the ls that was in there, especially if he still has a ls trans. but i agree a gsr block or ls block will do wonders to that setup. either way you go good luck op

B18b1 - 142 hp (106 kW) @ 6300 rpm & 130 ft·lbf (180 N·m) @ 5200 rpm
Ls tranny = slow acceleration..
JDM B16A - 170 PS (125 kW; 168 hp) @ 7,800 rpm & 16.0 kg·m (157 N·m; 116 ft·lbf) @ 7,300rpm
B16 tranny = short gearing, quick acceleration..

Yes i agree every integra should have the original displacement or greater, but for someone to say the LS motor had more power.. thats retarted.. Especially when the JDM b16A has right at the same HP rating as a USDM GSR motor, then again, it does have a lot less torque.. which sucks.. but with shorter gearing.. I have driven Ls integra's with b18b1's, i have driven Ls integra's with JDM B16A's, and my own integra.. the JDM B16A integra def had a lot more pull.

I've seen both and personally driven both and b18>b16 all day. weather it may be a DA integra or a DC integra.

Pretty cool to be different, but I don't think you've gotten anyone who knows how to drive to get behind the wheel of the GS-Rs. My buddy has a DA with a B17A1 tuned on E-85, s300, RC inj. and some other cool goodies and I walk away from him in my 3rd gear on my LS...

So I'd agree with finding a LS block, put new bearings in it and rings depending on mileage, then slap that head on and wire it up you'll have a beast before your hands with a lot of room to expand if done properly.

I wasn't talking about you not knowing how to drive, I meant the people you put down in your B16 vs their GS-R. By all means I was not saying you don't know how to drive haha. If anything, I was saying YOU can drive and THEY can't... But how many miles are on this swap, and what are YOUR plans for it...

or hey, I'm looking for a B16 head for my bare B18B1 (1.9L now though), so if you ever look around or part out hit me up first hahaha.
