LS turbo vs. b16a
Ok i have a 88 hatch 5 speed i want to know witch is more reliable, more power and which is easier to swap? I can get a full ls swap local for $1000 and I can get a b16a full swap for $1300.00 local. O yea i can all so have a Ls/vtec for 1800 local. If you have any ideas on witch is better and has most power please help.
I do not know if I want to do the ls/vtec I have just started this Honda thing so i am new.

Re: LS turbo vs. b16a (94civic_EX)
i can tell you this.. the b16 drives so much more smoother b/c of the gearing.. but the LS is better if you want torque and plan on boosting...

why don't you just get a b16 swap and an ls (ys1) tranny...thats the setup i am running because i need the longer gears for boost....and i wanted the b16 because or the rod ratio...they are a lot shorter and can rev a million times better than the ls block...
