Default Good setup for street? Looking for 300-350whp.

Hey All,

94 DB8 w/ 98 ITR Swap, motor has 135K in good condition.

I am looking for a stock-ish looking setup (yes in CA) to support 300-350WHP+, make power up top still (I have been in a few cars with the greddy kit and I dont like how the power falls beyond 7K).

Now I understand I will have to get bottom end work to support the boost properly but just looking to shop for turbo parts right now.

Car will retain A/C (I have a baby)

Help me choose a manifold/ic/turbo combo!
Thanks.

-Mini Ram, 3" dp and exhaust
-T3/T04e 50 trim .63ar
-720cc injectors
-Comp Stg 3 (or 4) clutch
-GM3bar Map sensor
-2.5" IC Piping

Its not that terribly difficult to piece together the rest from here. Those parts will make your goal without going overboard on price OR going overboard on power capability.

Hide the reamhorn? Not sure I'm following. You can always swap for mini-ram.

EDIT:

I just read ShangaiOC's post. It didn't cross my mind that you want to hide the ramhorn because of CARB issues. How do you expect to hide the turbo, waste gate, blow-off valve, intercooler, ect? Simple answer, you can't.

Just weld a Greddy CARB plate on the manifold. Seen it done a few times & have been in a car that got stopped. The cop just let us go

DSM manifold heat shield are quite large to cover the manifold / turbo. outter edge of IC painted black a long with IC Piping, stock airbox/arm will be modified to route IC piping through it w/ BOV inside. I'm more worried about where the wastegate will be located.
So far the log manifold's position the wastegate right up in your face, the mini-ram manifold's are non-a/c

It really sucks you have to go through that much effort to have a turbo; California laws suck.

A turbo engine bay is a beautiful thing, its a shame to hide it.

A turbo engine bay is a beautiful thing, it's not something that should have to hide.

You can forget welding a C.A.R.B. plate from Greddy to that. No cop in their right might would fall for it....

Find a family member in a modified friendly state and re-register the car and your license. You won't pass that in CA. Believe that.

Poor bastards. Damn shame to go through that every 2 years. I did it my way for 4 years living out there. Didn't even get a second look from 5-0
