i just got my b18b swap in my civic and i wasnt getting the coolant fan to come on so i replaced the thermostat and fan switch but those didnt fix the problem after that i tool out the rear defroster relay and put it where the coolant fan relay went and now the fan comes on but now i have a check engine light

anyone got any ideas plz...

Pull the CEL code and also tell people what year Civic you have.
