Default Problem starting

I have a 90 crx dx and sometimes when i try starting my car, all i hear is the starter clicking. i can hear the fuel lines go on as well. Finally swapped a b18a1 in my car and i have the same exact problem.. I keep turning the key and i hear the starter and fuel lines but nothing. Sometimes i hold the key on and then it starts. Is this an ignition problem?

yes. since you swapped to a b series, which means a diff starter, so the starter itself cant be the prob. hows your tranny ground wire? so you have to keep turning the key for it to start?

Tranny ground wire is good. And yes i have to keep on turning the key for it to start. Sometimes it starts up with no problems even when its cold. I'll try swapping the clutch switch.
