Default Need help on lowering my car...

Its a 1987 civic si, i was going to cut the springs but come to find out i have no springs in the front for some reason. Would an ef suspension work for the front of the car? Please help me out.

Wow no springs, that cant be good. DO NOT CUT THE SPRINGS, yes i'm yelling at you. I found lowering springs for an 88' civic but not 87. Are we sure its an 87?

you dont have springs in front? Wow that's a strange suspenison.

If you currently dont have springs in front, i highly doubt a ef suspension will fit without switch everything over. Hopefully someone with a little more knowledge will post, im interested in this as well, good luck.

Isn't the 87 using torsion bars up front?

No parts needed to lower, just adjust their position. Of course, this also doesn't change the spring rate, which should probably be increased when lowering, so thicker bars would be the best way to do it.

umm that might be it, i just noticed that there aren't any springs it just looks like a strut and thats it.

A torsion bar is a spring.

yes u have torsion bars up front, rally25rs has a good post with pictures explaining these. I used Ground Control Coilovers w/ Tokico Blue Shocks in Rear on my '87.
