Default lsvtec wont crank new battery new starter new terminals

lsvtec wont crank for some strange reason when i go to try to crank the car the headlights dim startr doesnt turn over or nothing. fuel pump primes like it suppose to.. now im also having a problem where the postive cable wire is getting hella hot. so i bought new terminals and having the same issues... i need some help im starting to get aggravated with my car thanks...............

Its ground related. Had the same issue with my brothers accord.

Positive wire hot and lights dim, sound like a large current draw somewhere. Ground, short, or something bound.

ok i just checked all grounds and added one one the intake still wont crank. so what did next was to take some wire and put one end on the starter and one end on the postive battery and the car didnt crank either im getting sooo aggravated.../

Can you turn the motor over? Can you turn the starter? I would not connect up a direct battery line until I established that.

Check all your grounds. that happened to a friend of mine, he forgot to put back the rubber piece in his starter connection.

rubber piece on the starter is there any way possible you can send me a pic of the rubber peice that your talking about

take off the grounds and clean the mating surfaces with sandpaper or wire brush, especialy the ground that bolts from the gearbox to the chassis.
