I have a JDM B16 Y21 transmission with oem lsd. Part of the housing on the diffs is fractured and I wanted to buy replacement LSD for it. Apparently the final drive ring gear on my oem lsd will not bolt up to the aftermarket LSD for the usdm trans. so what I want to know, is the mainshaft on the lsd-equipped trans the same as the usdm trans without lsd. If so, wouldn't I be able to just buy the ring gear for the usdm trans without lsd, bolt it to the aftermarket LSD(probably a quaife), and drop it in my lsd-equipped transmission?

 

what year is it,,,the cable b16s had a different spline but if it is hydro then it might be one of the special ordered 96-97 lsd trans
