Default Rear demister switch.

I have in my possession the same switch and for the same car, but only its a momentary push on configuration. On other cars with this type switch, the demister turns on when you push the button and turns off when you push it again OR after a said period of time.

What do i need (any additional hardware) to run the second switch that is mentioned....

thanks in advance.

I think your switch is broken where it is not 'clicking' when you push it. Try to get another switch.

What do you mean by "momentary?" You push it and it's on and then goes off soon thereafter, without you pushing it again or before the timer runs out?

If this is the case, the switch may be bad as Blue says.
