Code 9.. No. 1 cylinder position?
Tonight i was doing a little run for fun with my buddy (Tooqwik1) against his hybrid hatch. Usually i dont push my car too hard, but i have to work extra hard against those pesky hybrids.. So i was shifting at 7800-8000.. boom i see the Check engine light flash on.. check the code, 9 flashes.. and 1 flash indicating an O2 sensor problem. 9 flashes for the No. 1 cylinder position..
Im always having this problem.. i replace the distributor and it goes away.. but ive been through 4 distributors.. how can i fix this??

take off your dist cap carefully and look and see if there are bits of wire in the cap.
if there is the sensor went bad. I've seen this many times and had it happen personaly a couple of times. You will have to replaced the dist.
