Do Tein Hood Dampers really raise the hood by 10mm?

Do Tein Hood Dampers really raise the hood by 10mm?
Hey Guys,
Was interested in getting some hood dampers for my EG. Initially though Tein - but then a dealer told me that it raises the hood "a bit".
Then I checked on the one site (http://www.robearracing.com/pd-tein-...c-92-95-eg.cfm) and it reckons 10mm? thats not exactly a bit.
So just really need a confirmation that it lifts it that much?
Is this gonna happen on all dampers for the EG or is it just the Tein ones?

Well I got them, dont know if I would call it 10mm - bu there is definately a raise. Will try post a picture for future reference.
