Default turbo advice

Ive been in the honda game a while and am finally ready to step into the world of boost. im looking for advice on which turbo to get. any help would be a apriciated, this is for my DB8. im looking for about 350+ whp on pump gas while keeping lag to a minimum. this is my current set up:

B18c1 block
81.5mm stock sleeves
weisco 81.5 9:5 pistons
eagle rods
eagle crank
oem headgasket
gsr oil pump
gsr water pump
gsr timing belt

B16 head
brian crower dual springs and ti retainers
aem cam gears
stock gsr cams
skunk 2 intake manifold
phearable 70mm throtle body
arp head stud
440 injectors
walboro 255

gsr tranny
i know i need to upgrade the injectors.
im going to be running an s300 with boost controler

any specific price range youre working with? theres lots of turbos that will help you get to your goals and allow you room to grow with good spool time.

A standard t3/t04E 57 trim will suffice. No need to go ballistic with a BB for that particular power goal, that 57 will have pretty decent spool time for your needs, and it will help your pockets also.

Also, if you're shooting for 350 whp, the 440cc injectors will way more than likely not get you there. I'd suggest the ID 1000's. Yes, that's alot of injector for said goal, but as a plus, it gives you room to grow for future power decisions, not to mention they're high impedance (no resistor box needed), idle like stock & can withstand alot of base fuel pressure. They're badass.

if its stock stroke engine do your self a favor and put the stock crank back in. eagle cranks are junk

The 57 trim would work great or a precision billet 58mm

If 350whp is all you're looking to make, you could get away with a 50 trim. It would be more streetable than a 57 trim, but even that would be very streetable. As for injectors, you can figure it out based on 6cc per whp.

That said, if you want 350whp you do as follows:

350whp x 6cc (per whp) = 2100cc total flow
2100cc / 4 injectors = 525cc

That means that 525cc is the LEAST amount you would need to make that power level. That said, a set of 720cc injectors or even 680s would be fine. I would NOT get 550s for that goal.

the crank should hold for 350whp but i wouldnt push any further with it or get a used gsr crank. they tend to break when start getting up in power

The 50 trim is a good turbo option too. as for injectors do you self a favor and get the image dynamic bosch 750's. the id750, id1000, id2000 hands down best injectors period on the market.

I dont disagree that ID injectors are good, but 1000 or 2000cc would be slightly overkill

yeah thats why i said the 750's lol but i always like to go bigger ie 1000's to have room for advancement BUT with the ID750's and 100psi base pressure would be plenty of fuel for quite a bit of power

i wouldnt call running a 1000CC setup on a 350whp honda overkill. It leaves room for him to grow and running lower IDC's is better anyway.

Those injectors give more than twice the required fuel amount. If he was on E85, i would suggest them...I'm not making a whole lot more power than he is, and i'm on a set of 1000cc injectors...PTE, not IDs though

i only make 317 and im 1000cc FICs lol. I love them because if I ever want to turn up the boost, which i will, i got plenty of injector. If i ever want to go e85, again, plenty of injector. Id rather have the capability to go bigger without having to switch out that and my car idles like stock with my FIC's another plus. that and i got an awesome deal on them!

im assuming a .63 A/R for the t3/t4. if i wanted to go for 400whp what kind of diffrence are we talking, could my set up support it
