You can do any J series swap...

To be honest, all that work while you can just throw in an H22A and turbo it and call it a day.

Searching would help also. There any plenty handfuls of people that did J swaps.

to tell you the truth a J swap has never been done to a 5th gen before so you be the first one to find out if you went with it...if you were to go through with it, it'd probably be better off with a V6 front end

if your seriously just looking for the best bang for your buck it'd be turboing the F22, best reasonably priced N/A engine choice would be H22, then you have the K24

V6 swaps in the 5th gen aren't the same as V6 swaps in the 6th gen. 5th gen 4 cylinder cars are actually smaller than the V6 versions; you may have noticed that some V6 bodyparts aren't interchangeable either.

If he has enough money and time in his hands to fit and have the J series running, i'll give him credit. Like anything in the world, anything is possible if you have enough money and time.

As what me and wolfy said, F/H/K will be your best luck to replace that motor.

Or sell the one you have now and look for the CE1 5th Gen Accord V6(C27) if you really want a V6.

Otherwise, go H22, H23A VTEC, F20B, etc.

5th gen accord V6 bodies have a longer nose and a larger engine bay to fit the larger C27 V6s in their. It's not going to be plug and play. IF, it fits, you will have to weld in new engine mounts at the very least. It isn't plug and play like H swaps. It would involve significant amounts of fabrication.
