i just bought a underdash harness from the junkyard all plugs are in good condtion i just wanted to know if there are any major differences between the vx.cx.dx.ex.si.etcccc i know about the power doors and windows difference but besides that like plugs that might affect the performance of the car. i know its a hard to understand but this is the easiest i could put it lol. thanks for the help.
Performance? No. As long as you are referring ONLY to the under-dash part and nothing under the hood. Options and equipment, yes.
VXs are wired a little weird, have some circuitry for the upshift light and the oxygen sensor wiring is a little different and has to be repined at the shock tower plugs on anything thats not a VX. Automatic and manual harnesses are different. EX/Si/VX and all '92 cabin harnesses are prewired for vtec to the shock tower plugs. '92 - '93 DX/LX cabin harnesses have the map sensor plug on them instead of the engine harness like all other '92 - '95 civics. I hope that helps a bit.
