Noob question t3 to t3/t4 turbo

Will a t3/t4 turbo bolt to a t3 manifold?

So why wouldnt poeple just say its a t3/t4 flange instead of t3? And same goes with the t3 turbos?

cause a t3/t4 refers to a t3 turbine and t4 compressor. not the same as a t4 turbine.
