Replacing slave cylinder 99 accord 4cyl
I need help desperately I see lots of posts about replacing the slave cylinder but one thing boggles me how do you remove the line from the slave cylinder its self if someone can tell me that I'm set. Thank you so much! - Victor
You mean hydraulic line going into it?
Just use a flare wrench on it with the appropriate size......
if it is real rusted up, use some loosen it and let it soak for a few minutes, then try it.
Then replace, and bleed line accordingly after wards.

are you sure thats not a nut at the end of that line? looks like it from here. and it does not sound like honda to do something like that.....
I'm positive if I could just use a wrench to take it off I would do it and not trouble myself with making this post. Anyone with a 98-02 accord know what I'm talking about????

If you look closely, there is a little pin holding the line in place. You must tap the pin out with a hammer and punch. What Ive done is unbolt the slave cylinder and raise/reposition it for easier access before I take the pin out.
Where the line bolts in to the slave assembly:

You need to use a 3/32 punch to remove the pin & it will release the line from the assembly:

Sorry for bumping an old thread hope this saves some people time & headache in the future
