Unfortunetly, no. But I plan on doing the same thing for my short ram. Not sure if I want to do a heat sheild , or a box like the comptech set up.

BRING IT ON!

jsut did it on the weekend!!! you need

1. sheet metal eg stainless steel
2. a template eg cardboard
3. tin snips or a "nibbler"
4. jigsaw for hole cutting
5. about 2 hours
ok, because geocities is such a stupid site for linking to - please cut and paste the links to see the pics

you make up the'box' from the cardboard and then cut out the steel sheet like this:
http://www.geocities.com/b20bvtecpre...airbox2sml.jpg

then you test fit it like this:
http://www.geocities.com/b20bvtecpre...airbox3sml.jpg

then you fit your pod filter and radiator overflow like this:
http://www.geocities.com/b20bvtecpre...airbox5sml.jpg

then you might wanna paint it, or i am going to cover it in exhaust wrap tape...

i hope this helps you!

oh, and if you REALLY want it to be cold and fresh, you might get a 3in tube to run from behind the front bumper directly onto the pod like you can see in hte pics...

it is COLD to touch this after driving on hot days here.

once you sit for more than 3 minutes it starts to warm up...

i am going to get some soft rubber to put around the edges of the sheet metal to seal it off completely and also thinking about hte header tape wrap to help keep it cool...

t..

PS what do you guys think?

get a cardboard box and use that to make a mold that'll fit your car's space. Then use that as a template on the sheet metal.
