i got ls mesh im prepping for paint, i want the purple that tial has on there bovs and wastegates, anyone know where i can get a code or a color almost the same

Take the BOV to the paint store and ask them to match it....done.

you guys are useless to the OP... wastegates and bov's are anodized so it would be really expensive to get this done to wheels... but there is a solution that is affordable and can be done at home here you go bud have fun.... http://www.duplicolor.com/products/metalCast/

i already had this idea and i tried it with the duplicolor paint. itll come out nice if you can strip the clear and all the other **** off the stock wheels. i was dumb and used a grinder on some parts because with the mesh wheels it was really hard to get the surface bare. well there ended up some gouge looking marks that came thru the paint. u can try but i would say you would need to buy the duplicolor base paint they sell for the anodized colors. coat with that then about a can per wheel.

 

i did my fuel pump covers in that duplicolor man it came out a lil darker than the can go figure, dam duplicolor. and yes i used 400 wetsand, spent alot of time per wheel and no i wont even put a grinder to a wheel from past exp with valve covers that just leads to problems. ill post pics of the pump covers, there duplicolor purple with the color effex and, cleared with a paintgun

 

well ive got back on paitning my rim, going to go with duplicolor anodized purple for the spokes and a polished outside, the 400 sanding takes ****ing forever htough
