bov paintable?
I know that the outlet (blue piece) can be painted, but instead of removing the bov from the charge piping and taping everything up, can the outlet (blue piece) be removed and how? Thanks..

I bought a "red" anozided strut bar a few years ago and it came looking a lot more pink than red.
So I cleaned it with acetone and gave it a few coats of red "High Temp. Engine Enamel" from Pep Boys. It's been probably three years now and the paint looks perfect.
Well, except for where I bang it up when I'm wrenching under the hood.
Case in point: Get some high temp enamel and it will work fine.
