got code 9 need a bit of help

Default got code 9 need a bit of help

what is a cylinder sensor?

where is it located?

what does it do?

can i replace it?

any insight so i can get my mind around what this sensor is

The sensor is inside and part of the distributor housing. Measure the resistance of the sensor and check the two wires with a multimeter. If the sensor is bad, you would generally need to replace the distributor housing.

I have gotten this code a few times. It always seems to happen when its super humid outside, and then after a day or so it goes away. Take off your cap and see if there is moisture in there.

i put new water pump timing belt and tensoner i been drivieng it about a week and got this code last night do they just go out or what?

Parts just go bad sometimes. Troubleshoot to pinpoint the problem part.
