Whats up guys i have a d16y7 and was going to do a mini me swap with a z6 head so i got the z6 head, intake manifold, throttle body, vtec solenoid, head bolts, fuel rail and injectors. I was wondering if it would be possible for me to use all of these parts except the z6 head with a y8 head?

 

yes, you'll just need to remove the blue plastic piece from inside your fuel injector plugs to make the OBD1 plugs plug in. Also you'll need to place the IAT into your intake arm as the Z6 has it on the manifold.

Sorry, had to reread and edit, I was confused for a second.

IIRC, you can reuse your D16Y7 headbolts, but if it were me, I would buy new headbolts.

If using D16Y8 head, use D16Y headbolts

If using D16Z6, use D16Z6 headolts.
