1995 Ls 4 door auto trans problem
Hi everyone hows it going?
I have a 1995 acura integra ls 4 door. i noticed from park to reverse its hard and if your not paying attention to gear selector on dash you will go into neutral. But park to any other gear theirs a slight hard pass reverse then its ok going in to drive low gear etc...But drive to reverse is smooth. I havent checked fluids do you think that will change it? If anyone had the same problem please let me know thank you.
Also has anyone had problems with water coming in their car found some water where the spare tire sits.
Thanks for everyone input.

Haha bro I think we're in the exact same situation! I posted a thread about this 2 night ago. I had water in the trunk because there was a spoiler bolt missing but after putting one in it's no longer leaking even with hi pressure washer staying at it. As for the tranny I'm not sure if it's my fluid that's bad or trannys going bad but I'm doing a tranny flush this weekend so I'll let you know if it helps.
Great thanks man that sucks we got both the same problems! But yea i just bought the car their was no wing i dry vac everything even the inside floor carpet had wet spots but we shall see wahts going on.
As far as the tranny man i thought we can get away with chaning fluid but if we dont let me know how much a new tranny is and what kind of fluid you using.
Thanks again man

Foam gaskets behind the taillights are usually the cause of this. Honda had problems with water leaking into the trunk on just about everything in the '90s. The best way to check though is take everything out of trunk and fold down the backseats, have someone with a garden hose spray water over trunk and see where it gets in.
ok so i changed the tranny fluid and it helped out alot but its still shifting a bit hard. lots of metal shavings in there! 160k never had the tranny fluid changed im guessing because it was black! so basicly i'll need a new tranny later. but so far its shifting much better and it doesnt jerk anymore when i put it in gear. i used just the autozone brand tranny fluid...its a daily driver so i dont spend too much on it haha
i also did the oil change, ps flush, tranny flush and coolant flush...runs much nicer now

3 qts was perfect and ya just drain and fill. Some said get Honda fluid but they're the same as the universal auto tranny fluid. Can't remember te name but if you ask a sales staff at Autozone for tranny fluid for a Honda he'll show you. I'll see if I kept a bottle to fin the name. I'll know it if I see/hear the name
