Most muffler shops stock plugs and I've even found them in large hardware stores

Its an M18 x 1.5 Thread, one of the old jumbo spark plugs will fit.

You would want to use a short bolt if you can find one. Hard to find one laying around the house.

cheapest and easiest solution... an oil drain plug bolt... most auto parts shop have them and they are the cheapest...

if you look for a bolt for the size, they are going to be more money than the dain plug

Spark plug... screw it in, tighten it down, and then hit the end of the spark plug with a hammer to break the end off, so that it doesn't take up as much space.

I machined a round rod with a shoulder on it, and then welded it in place. It is the correct depth to make a smooth surface on the inside.

I know this post is quite old, however someone did mention going to NAPA for the plug. Many people at NAPA have no clue what you are going to ask them for so here are the NAPA part numbers (They should both fit). Hopefully this helps the next person looking for a plug.

7041069
7041037 (this is the one i got because they were out of the other one, fit perfect)

(Thanks for bumping this as I may not have found it otherwise. Good info here.)

Go to O'Reillys

I picked up my M18x1.5 Oil Drain Bolt + Washer for 2.29 + tax

Part # 65220
