Hey guys,

My dad just bought a 91 integra. It has an automatic transmission and I recently received a call from him telling me that the instrument panel had the outline around the D3 icon blinking at random times. Do u guys know what the problem might be?

a bad ground caused a blinking d4 light in my 2000 ls

 

Where was that ground on your car? I want to find it on my car.

 

are you also showing a CEL? mine blew a fuse each time the AT tried to shift. the incomplete ground was the negative battery terminal to the chassis.

 

use a voltmeter that can check for continuity between two points on a circuit. use it on the the 3 major grounds from (battery, valve cover and transmission) to chassis.
