just finished replacing the clutch in my 92 dx and at the same time i swapped in a b000 tranny out of a 93 ex.

all is good except when i accelerate in 1st gear and 2second there is a metallic noise. and when i downshift from 3rd to 2nd sometimes it will grind.

i was thinking input shaft bearing, but the noise is not always there. seems like only in 1st and 2nd. i dont recall hearing it in 3rd. but its only when i press the accelerator in those 2 gears.

anyone have any ideas? i really dont like the idea of having to drop the tranny again.
